I don't see either of these branches doing their part in providing checks and balances in regard to government operations. What I see is people just covering their backsides. I did not vote for this type of leadership, I feel sorry for those who did. Bad choice to put this president in place.
All the indications where there from his first term, it was chaos and he left the country in a mess.
Which president Biden did not really fix. Back to the point regardless who is elected as president we also elect Senators and Representatives to serve in the legislature to represent us and to do their job. Does not matter if your Republican or Democrat you represent your constituents and their best interests, that's the job. Also part of the job is to protect the country by providing checks and balances to protect the Constitution, maybe they just forgot about that.
The justice department is different their appointed, however, there views should not be politically motivated. Big question there, if you look at recent events its hard not to make the assumption that this is not the case. They also have a job to do in providing checks and balances and their suppose to make decisions based on law and without bias.
Both these branches of government, specifically those who are holding positions in there need to take a good look at what their duties are and what are the appropriate actions to be taken.
